We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Nuclear Engineer.  In this position, a Principal Nuclear Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:
* Specific problem solving skills in the areas of nuclear fuel performance analysis, integrating information on core operating parameters with coolant chemistry data and radiochemistry information to trend and predict the performance of fuel during operation desired.
* Ability to translate observations and trending information related to fuel performance into instructions and guidance for on-site fuel inspection and handling technicians in support of outage critical path schedules is a significant responsibility.
* Nuclear fuel performance, fault evaluation and forensic analysis of fuel condition via coolant radiochemistry is highly desirable.
* Conduct frequent technical presentations to various internal/external personnel, up to and including staff level management.
* Provide technical/project management direction and effectively explain technical information to intra/inter-business unit personnel, up to and including staff level management, customer management and government agency personnel to successfully deliver product or service.
* Direct discussions with customer technical personnel involved in the collection of coolant radiochemistry data
 * Knowledge of computer aided data analysis for tracking and trending desired.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's in Nuclear Engineering required; Advance Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years or applicable experience required
  • Experience with Nuclear fuel performance, fault evaluation and forensic analysis of fuel condition via coolant radiochemistry is highly desirable.
