The AP1000 Plant Technical Services Integration Group has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer role as plant integration engineer supporting the general AP1000 plant analysis scope .  The Plant Analysis and Integration group of Westinghouse Electric's New Plants and Major Projects organization is responsible for the completion and delivery of global plant analyses and design integration for cross cutting plant design elements.  This includes plant safety analysis, PRA, radiation analysis, severe accident analysis, equipment qualification, GSI 191, chemistry, and coatings. 

The successful candidate will be accountable for integration and delivery of the engineering associated with global plant analysis for AP1000 projects and future plant opportunities.  This will include performing plant analysis to support activities such as AP1000 system analyses, thermal hydraulic analysis, equipment qualification support, PRA, and GSI 191 and ensuring integration of other analyses with the physical plant design.  

The following are key responsibilities for this role:
• Develop and executing strategies for completion of remaining plant analyses. 
• Support resolution of critical issues related to AP1000 plant analysis. 
• Support commissioning activities for China and Domestic AP1000 units. 
• Interface with Engineering departments responsible for completion of the individual plant analysis to ensure timely and high quality completion of plant analyses.
• Ensuring alignment between physical plant design and global plant analyses.
• Supporting regulatory and customer driven activities related to AP1000 new build plant opportunities.
• Coordinate impact reviews for plant design changes as they relate to global plant analysis. 
• Interface with customers regarding completion and delivery of plant analysis. 
• Meeting project schedules and budget requirements.  .

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

• Analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to details and excellent communication skills including technical writing.
• B.S. Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical, nuclear, or chemical engineering experience - preferably new nuclear power plant design.
• Experience working with the 10 CFR Part 52 licensing process.
• Experience in working in NQA-1 quality and configuration management programs.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally if required.  Travel is expected to be less than 10%.
• Familiarity with the AP1000 design.
