Main tasks:

- Coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.
- Initiate and plan all scheduling aspects of a project, which includes, but is not limited to schedule baseline, schedule analytics, schedule updating. Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced and overall project performance is optimized.
- Lead all planned schedule activities and ensure schedule adherence. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to functional groups.
- Properly close the project by archiving schedule/tools. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work.
- Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance. Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.  
 
 

 
 

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction -Management or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of project controls experience or 2 years of project controls experience and 1 year of experience in a technical role in the nuclear or construction industry.
- Proficient in use of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Proficient in use of MS Project scheduling software.
- Knowledge of Project Management Institute's (PMI®) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
- Proficient in English, with good working knowledge of French (knowledge of other languages would be an asset).
- Planning and organization skills, time management.
