We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Instructor on our WECTEC Performance Improvement team at our Vogtle site in Waynesboro, GA.  The Instructor can expect to be responsible for the following:

•Maintain in-depth knowledge of the SAT process and procedural
•Implement the procedural requirements for the Systematic
   Approach to training
•Demonstrate required technical skills proficiency
•Maintain instructor skills qualifications
•Responds to all CAPAL (Corrective Action Prevention and Learning)
  assignments within required/designated time frame.
•Deliver training and evaluate the effectiveness of training using
  appropriate evaluation methods
•Models high standards of technical competency, Nuclear Safety
  Culture, safe work practices, professionalism, and human
  performance techniques
•Determine remedial training needs for identified performance
•Participates, when qualified, in training initiatives as Facilitator
•Starts on schedule and stops within the designated time allotted for
•Conducts training using lesson plans and the approved training
  course materials
•Maintains classroom management
•Resolves issues, concerns and questions regarding examinations
•Ensures high-quality materials and delivery methods are in place.
•Implements training class schedules
•Routinely observes field activities and incorporates field work
  methods and processes into training
•Identifies continuing training needs from analysis of observation of
  worker performance, CAP performance trends and incumbent
•Reviews feedback to identify improvements to training and follow-
  up actions are timely
•Conducts training activities using approved lesson plans to ensure
  consistent delivery & mastery of learning objectives
•Ensures applicable ancillary documents (tests, performance
  observation documents, class evaluation forms, etc.) are submitted
  with the Training Attendance Records (TARs)
•Ensure training records (Training Attendance Records)
  documenting the conduct of training or evaluations are complete,
  accurate and submitted within the required timeline
•Conducts periodic verification of document retention (i.e., employee
  training records) in LMS.

Job Requirements

Specific Desired Skills:

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

•Previous experience as an instructor  (2 years)
•Preferably in the nuclear industry
•Previous Nuclear Training experience is a plus
