We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer in our department.

-Perform moderately complex to complex engineering design evaluations and analysis.
- Prepare appropriate documentation supporting evaluations and analysis.
- Verify routine design evaluations and analysis performed by others, as qualified.
- Interface on a limited basis with customers, vendors and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
- Obtain results to routine technical problems.  Creating and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Identify new technologies and process improvements to new and existing hardware on continuing basis and assist in implementation .
- Plan and schedule own work to meet assignment requirements within scheduler and budgetary requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.  Ensuring compliance with design process procedures.
-Become proficient with software used to perform inspection activities at nuclear plant sites

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

•Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•A minimum 3+ years of experience.
•Nuclear power plant and knowledge of nuclear industry requirements experience is desirable
•Knowledge about non-destructive examination techniques is desirable.
•Knowledge about robotics, multi-axis scanners and control systems.
•The incumbent must possess analytical skills, critical thinking, a passion for attention to details and excellent communication skills including technical writing.
•Must be fluent with the Microsoft office suite of products including; Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
•Become proficient with software used to perform inspection activities at nuclear plant sites
•Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access in commercial nuclear power facilities.
•Candidate must be a United States Citizen.
•Travel of 20 30% expected.
•Physical requirements will include: lifting 50 lbs., Bending and twisting, Standing or sitting for long periods of time, walking, climbing ladders, scaffolding, pipes,  Exposed to elements such as noise, heat/cold and oil.  Occupational radiation exposure.
