We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Resource Planner in our Global Resource Planning & Development organization based out of our Cranberry Woods or Madison

This this position, a Senior Resource Planner can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Planning -- Engage project, program, finance and marketing managers to determine resource needs for current and future business.  Prepare and review business unit resource plans, forecasts, and periodic updates, including analysis.
  • Process - Utilize current procedures and programs for data gathering, monitoring, reporting on status and progress of staffing forecasts, preparation and release of data and reports required by business, product line or department.
  • Reporting  - Prepare or assist in preparation of special reporting requests to meet business unit needs, such as fiscal planning.
  • Data Administration - Develop and monitor cost improvement identification and tracking mechanisms. Supplier performance data collections and administration use in analysis to customer requirements and internal business plans. Operational records data administration to support field service staffing, contingent labor, human resource record keeping, archival and ad-hoc query and reporting.
  • Analysis - Develop analytical observations from data and make recommendations.
  • Training -- Provide training on use of resource planning tools, process and procedure.  Proactively identify training and overview opportunities with business unit user base and supporting functional groups.
  • Improvement  - Identify process and system improvements then participate in the implementation to optimize resource planning. Monitor resource utilization and cost improvement identification and tracking mechanisms.
  • Relationship Mgmnt  -  Serve as support resource for various business units in resource planning, analyzing, and reporting resource forecasts.  Work closely with business unit personnel to ensure integrity in resource planning function.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Operations Management, or related discipline required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience required. 5+ years preferred
  • Competencies: Effective Communications, Delivering Customer Success, Driving for Results, Personal Effectiveness, Planningand Organizing, Teamwork
  • Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries with cross-functional teams.
  • General MS-Office products skills.
  • Expert ability to perform data analysis, reporting and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint will be required for this role.
  • SAP and Project Management tools familiarity.
  • Experience gathering and generating data utilizing several different systems, tools, and processes to support reporting and analysis activities a plus.
