We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Issue Screener / Data Analyst in our Engineering Center of Excellence (ECoE) department located in Cranberry Township, PA.  

The Issue Screener / Data Analyst will oversee and monitor corrective action incidents to ensure standard implementation and consistent data integrity to support issue resolution, trending, and prevention/learning.  Apply business acumen and data analysis to recognize trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide reports to support performance/operational based decision making.

In this position, an Issue Screener / Data Analyst can expect to be responsible for the following:

•Screen incoming issue reports for complete information, export control restrictions, nuclear safety concerns, significance, etc. Provide initial recommendations to Issue Review Committee (IRC) for review. Work effectively with originators or Issue Screeners in other business areas as appropriate to redirect issues and ensure screening is completed in a timely manner. Process issues based on the output from the IRC.
•Review and update issue data as appropriate and identify applicable trending codes for all discreet incidents.
•Perform Corrective Action Quality Review for specified issue reports to ensure that corrective actions have been completed appropriately.
•Generate and present metrics and reports at issue review meetings and organizational meetings related to the corrective action system as needed.
•Perform quarterly trending on corrective action system data and document any trends.
•Perform causal analysis and draw conclusions on causal factors and identify opportunities for improvement for the organization.
•Lead Issue Review Committee (IRC) meetings with key stake holders and ensure consensus on significance level, ownership and nuclear safety concerns. Must obtain reasonable knowledge of all issues to facilitate discussions as appropriate.
 •Serve as mentor/trainer/power user for the business area in the use of the corrective action system.

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
•Bachelors Degree in Technical Discipline or equivalent experience.
•Relevant experience/knowledge of AP1000 processes and programs desired.
•CAPAL system experience desired
