We currently have an exciting opportunity for a NDE Level II in our WesDyne organization with the position being located in Madison, PA.

In this position, a NDE Level II can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Maintain UT Level II certification and Level I/Level IIL certifications in at least two of the following NDE methods: ET, VT, PT, MT.
  • Conduct non-destructive examinations according to written procedures.  Interpret the results of the examinations in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.
  • Assist senior personnel in the preparation of procedures, examination program plans, and NDE reports.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate various NDE inspection systems.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of ASME Code and how it applies to non-destructive testing in the nuclear industry.  
  • Assume BOP/ISI project resource lead responsibilities.  Coordinate equipment packing lists per project manger's direction and interface with appropriate equipment leads to accurately track and inventory shipments to customer sites.
  • Assume equipment lead responsibilities.  Maintain inventory and control of specific M&TE and NDE equipment in support of all WesDyne projects.
  • Perform Service Center support functions including but not limited to NDE equipment maintenance and check out, equipment decontamination, equipment packing and unpacking, shipment preparations, material handling and calibration activities.
  • Perform all assigned tasks under general supervision, with a high degree of quality, and within the parameters of qualified procedures and guidelines.  Maintain a high level of attention to detail, and document all quality related issues.
  • Act professionally at all times and follow the uniform dress policy at customer sites and at Waltz Mill as a representative of WesDyne.
  • Exercise and promote team-building skills with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers and other departments.  Demonstrate good customer sensitivity and customer service skills.  Maintain a focus on creative problem solving.
  • Practice Safety First, Human Performance and ALARA principles as an integral part of all activities.  Demonstrate good housekeeping practices in work areas.
  • This position requires extensive travel (50-70%), maintenance of "Unescorted Access" status, and working with hazardous materials.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • High school graduate or the recognized equivalent is required as well as specific knowledge and training in multiple NDE methods.
  • UT Level II certification and Level I/Level IIL certifications in at least two of the following NDE methods: ET, VT, PT, MT.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience
