We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Site ITAAC. In this position, a Manager, Site ITAAC can expect to be responsible for the following:

Develop and execute the overall strategy and direction for the AP1000 Consortium Project ITAAC (Inspections, tests, analyses and acceptance criteria) function.
Providing advice and direction to the Director V.C. Summer Licensing & Regulatory Support and site management team.
Provide the primary interface with the regulator (NRC) and customer on topics relating to ITAAC at the V.C. Summer site.
  • Develop and implement the strategy for AP1000 Project ITAAC functions at V.C. Summer.
  • Manage licensing related activities and provide overall leadership of ITAAC functions.
  • Represent the Project in ITAAC discussions with the Industry and Customer.
  • Act as the single point of contact for ITAAC on the Project. Lead, manage and direct Project ITAAC activities as well as co-ordinate and integrate site specific ITAAC policies and practices with other AP1000 Projects and Home Office activities
  • Work with the Engineering and Construction organizations within Westinghouse and Flour to resolve emerging and ongoing Project ITAAC issues.
  • Responsible for development of the ITAAC closure packages and providing these packages to the Customer in a manner that supports plant startup.
  • Ensure ITAAC lessons learned are reviewed for applicability to the Project and integrated into the Project execution plan.
  • Ensure ITAAC lessons learned are promulgated to ensure incorporation into future New Plant Projects with emphasis on site requirements and activity.
  • Provide additional assistance to the Director Site Project Licensing & Regulatory Support as required.
  • Manage activities of the ITAAC organization to ensure projects, initiatives and processes are in conformance with established policies and objectives.  Oversee ITAAC organizational performance, direct continual review of department operations, develop/introduce alternative approaches to effectively accomplish objectives.
  • Promote and oversee development of staff; ensure appropriate levels of guidance, direction and development/knowledge transfer are provided; manage and document employee performance and implement actions, as appropriate.
  • Provide leadership for ITAAC budget and continuous improvement activities, including training, CAPALs, HuP and continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
* 10 plus years experience required, 15 plus preferred - preferably in the area of nuclear licensing. Nuclear operations with proven experience of dealing with regulators is essential.
*  Bachelor's degree in technical or business area typically required.  MBA or Master's degree is highly desired.
* Demonstrated ability to facilitate and drive change in a fast paced and "ever changing" environment leveraging their strong interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to work within the organization at all levels creating value and alignment
* Demonstrated ability to achieve results.
