We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Field Service Engineer in our Field Service Operations business line located in the Madison, PA facility.
In this position, a Principal Field Service Engineer can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Act as Project Manager for Field Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) and/or Fuel Service jobs
  • Prepare, execute, and close-out Field Service jobs
  • Act as Shift Supervisor when not the Project Manager
  • Set expectations and reinforce with Field crew team members
  • Manage personnel to efficiently and effectively execute Field jobs
  • Manage all Operational and Commercial aspects of Field jobs
  • Interface with the Customer to achieve Utility and Westinghouse goals
  • Continuously Improve through tracking and sharing of Lessons Learned and Best Practices
  • Interface and provide periodic updates on job preparation progress to direct Management, the Region, and the Customer
  • Develop and Present job Preparation status via the Challenge Review process
  • Update Procedures as necessary
  • Develop Cost Estimates and support the Proposal development process
    Lead by example
  • Have a strong Personal Safety, Nuclear Safety, and HuP ethic demonstrated through critical  observations and Coaching
  • Travel 25%-50% of the time is expected
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Unescorted Access at Nuclear Plants, and maintain the Westinghouse Behavioral Observation Program accreditation
