Job Overview:

CB&I has a fantastic career opportunity for a Business Development Representative (Inside Sales) within the industrial pipe fabrication team. This opportunity will identify and help to develop strategic relationships with content and technological partners.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Partners with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
  • Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline.
  • Monitors and controls costs within own work/projects.
  • Solves moderately complex problems; providing a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area.
  • Explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus among interested parties
  • Promotes teamwork, coaches and guides others.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience; preferably, industry related inside sales
  • Minimum High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
