GEWater.com web lead submissions are rapidly increasing. This role will be responsible for engaging customers and helping to fulfill on customer solutions/product needs. Leads will be coming from web campaigns and customer web inquiries; with an expectation that they will be contacted in a timely manner with someone who can assist them with their needs.

Essential Responsibilities

You will own developing revenue growth for GE Water digital efforts by creating an efficient process and mapping out commercial metrics. Strong prospecting and selling skills are required to identify customer needs and convert leads to revenue. Knowledge of GE Water products and services is key for initial lead qualification calls. Proficiency in managing leads and opportunities and tracking pipeline impact is crucial. Significant collaboration with the Revenue Marketing team, Commercial team and MarComm team is required to improve web lead conversion rates.

As the Web Leads Specialist, you will:

  • Drive revenue growth for GE Water from web leads
  • Call inbound web leads in a timely manner to qualify
  • Convert leads to opportunities or closed won business by taking orders, routing to our Sales teams or the e-store
  • Call and qualify outbound marketing campaign generated leads
  • Partner with the Revenue Marketing team to improve marketing operations lead qualification and routing processes
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to set and execute web leads sales strategy to grow sales pipeline
  • Support the Sales team in closing new opportunities
  • Potential for outbound calling campaigns for prospecting, upselling or cross selling opportunities
  • Work in collaboration with the Marketing/Communications team on lead generation campaigns
  • Manage email nurture program leads across the business portfolio
  • Great organizational and follow-up skills with a determination for excellent customer experience


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales or Marketing).
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial sales experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Technical background
  • Excellent communication and phone relationship building skills
  • Previous track record of closing deals
  • Comfortable with adopting new Sales and Marketing technology
  • Ability to work and act independently and as part of a team
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
