The Sr. Event Marketing Leader reports to the Senior
Director, Event Marketing Leader and is a key member of the commercial
marketing team, with responsibility and accountability for managing global
events; aligns with the commercial teams, Sales, Product and Communications
teams, to define, execute and track key event marketing metrics; and
continuously analyzes the effectiveness of programs to maximize marketing ROI,
generate leads and build the pipeline for sales.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage GE Power Digital Solutions global events (thought
    leadership, GE hosted, third party hosted, etc.)
  • Contribute to the overall marketing vision and strategy
  • Manage event marketing partnerships (production,
    registration, logistics management, etc.)
  • Evaluate and execute strategies and tactics to improve event
    marketing ROI
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to define and execute key
    marketing events and lead generation campaigns
  • Measure and analyze program metrics to maximize ROI,
    generate leads and build the pipeline for sales
  • Develop best practices for processes and performance
  • Develop and manage Power Digital's global customer
    experiences and interactive programs to tell the Digital Transformation of
    Energy story and promote the value proposition to key internal and external
    stakeholders (employees, customers, prospects, influencers, etc.)
  • Manage the global event marketing campaign calendar &
    sponsorship strategy
  • Continuously analyze event marketing trends and performance
    and identify and deliver performance improvement plans


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7+ years' work experience in event marketing
    management roles
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business
  • Must be able to travel up to 40%+ of the time

  • Working knowledge of the commercial marketing technology and
    tools (mobile event apps, event registration tools, SFDC, Marketo, etc.)
