The Vibration Test Engineer is responsible for the balancing and testing of power generator shafts at the test facility.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Vibration Test Engineer, you will:
  • Balance and test power generation shafts and discs
  • Prepare documentation of balancing and testing requirements
  • Produce final reports / results
  • Compile, assimilate and analyze field data from various sources, make recommendations
  • Operate testing equipment i.e. multi-meters, oscilloscopes, vibration monitoring equipment, etc.
  • Monitor progress, comply with quality and scheduled requirements
  • Review, modify and create production standards and engineering standards for vibration and testing
  • Review production orders for accuracy of instructions and tools


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering and testing environment
