Job Overview:

The Subcontracts Administrator located in The Woodlands, TX will work mostly on tank work (foundations, cranes, NDE), facility work (paving, security), or supports of those corporate functions (safety, environmental) to coordinate preparation of invitations to bid, perform proposal analyses, prepare bid evaluations, prepare award recommendations, and will qualify suppliers/subcontractors / consultants. They will also be responsible for negotiating subcontract agreements as well as prepare and administer subcontract agreements through final closeout.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate preparation of invitations to bid, performs proposal analyses, prepares bid evaluations, prepares award recommendations, negotiates subcontract agreements, and prepare and administer subcontract agreements through final closeout.
  • Participates with other project team members in regular meetings with subcontractors and assumes lead key role in handling commercial aspects of the subcontracts being executed.
  • Prepares regular activity reports.
  • Assumes responsibility for following corporate policies and procedures in the conduct of the work and oversees the work of other subcontract administrators assigned to the project office.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3-7 year's relevant experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite software programs
  • Experience with the creation of subcontracts for services including consulting agreements in a Commercial environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Must have strong negotiation skills and supplier sourcing experience.
  • Minimal travel expected as business needs arise.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Construction Contracting experience preferred
