Job Overview:

CB&I's Engineering and Construction Division has an openings for a Systems Completions Database Administrator to be site based at one of our multi-billion dollar EPC projects here in the U.S. The Completions Administrator is responsible for the development and set-up of the Completions Management Tool during the Engineering phase of the project and its management at the Project Jobsite. Experience as the Administrator of a Completions Management System, preferably on large EPC projects in the Petrochemical, Refinery, or LNG sectors is needed.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Set-Up the Completions Database and load engineering data into the package
  • Liaise with the Project Commissioning Manager and Discipline Engineers collating marked up P&ID's, SLD's etc, and Discipline Engineering Data for the population of the Turnover System Database
  • Entry and validation of all Engineering Data in the Completions Database.
  • Updating of Commissioning work packages and procedures as required reflecting the construction and Commissioning activities and Site conditions.
  • Co-ordination of activities with the Commissioning, Operation and Construction Mechanical Superintendents for all Site activities.
  • Make sure all Construction and Commissioning Completion Check Sheets are completed.
  • Compilation of Handover packages
  • Make sure that tests related to Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, and Performance Testing activities are witnessed and the required documents signed by appropriate EPC, Company, Regulatory Inspectors and Equipment Suppliers / Process Licensor representatives in accordance with the requirements of the QA/QC Plan
Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 + years' experience as an Administrator of a Systems Completion Database such as Co-console, WinPCS, Go-Completions, Complete-IT, Zenator or similar is required.
  • 2 + years' experience on large projects within Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, or Refinery facilities construction, commissioning and startup is required.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates or Technical Degree in related field.
  • Good experience managing the program setup, the manipulation of data, trouble shooting and loading site specific discipline check sheets to equipment tag numbers
  • Standard MS Office software (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to lead meetings and presentations
Other Details:

The position will start out at our home office Houston, Texas location and then be mobilized to project site.
