Job Overview:

CB&I is seeking a Marketing / Business Development Representative for our Houston, TX location. This individual will coordinate Business Development/Sales activities for Lummus Consultants, an international business unit within CB&I's Technology operating group, driving external messaging, developing marketing tools and collateral. Candidate will work closely with consultants on a range of activities that support business development, cross-discipline coordination and milestone management. The position requires a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills to work with Lummus Consultants business teams and CB&I corporate communications staff. The job also includes creation of marketing collateral, managing program logistics, develop marketing priorities, messaging, development of marketing communications, and supporting the planning processes.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Create tools to support efficient proposal/qualifications preparation.
  • Support management with metrics tracking and reporting sales and proposal activities.
  • Work closely with consultants to develop Sales and Marketing plan.
  • Responsible for LinkedIn page, development of other web-based tools, and conference displays, and all fit within business and corporate messaging.
  • Revamp internal portal to be more user friendly.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Communications to prepare flyers and brochures.
  • Plan and manage communications efforts for multiple internal clients.
  • Complete implementation of CB&I Sales System and ensure tool is being utilized.
  • Occasionally attend conferences as representative.
  • Drive the creation and distribution of various marketing and proposal qualification materials.
  • Develop and implement a client outreach process.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications.
  • Past experience with sales and marketing projects.
  • Industry experience/engineering experience.
  • Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio proficiency required.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
