Job Overview:

This position is the main point of contact to coordinate project specific requirements between the fabrication facility and the fabrication engineering department.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Coordinates the management of change through shop floor questions, stop work orders, and discrepancies with production drawings to provide feedback and ensure productivity rates are maintained on the shop floor
  • Ensures the proper revision and management of change processes are followed per company specification and procedures
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
  • Maintains an ongoing awareness of current projects in progress or scheduled
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintains project data base by entering and backing up data
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with pipe fabrication facility processes, procedures, with experience in a production environment
  • Working Knowledge of industry standards for piping and fittings in PROCESS, POWER and PIPELINE applications (such as ASME, ASTM, API, MSS, CAN / CSA)
  • Familiarity with piping design concepts
  • Knowledgeable of pipe fabrication techniques (construction materials, cutting, fitting, welding, bending, non-destructive examination, coating, installation)
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in technical field is preferred
  • Highly organized and be able to perform in a fast paced environment
  • Analysis experience
