Job Overview

CB&I is currently seeking a Client Service Manager to manage all phases of Air Quality program and project activities that range from small to large in value. The qualified candidate will be involved in a variety of activities including businesses development, team management leadership and project execution oversight.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Functions as seller-doer directly affecting the revenue, profitability, cash flow, and repeat business of the company through the ability to develop client relationships and lead associate teams in successfully delivering a quality product or service to the client.
  • Develops and maintains long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients, as well as industry teaming partners.
  • Organizes and contributes to business development activities; may serve as a key account manager.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in Clean Air Act requirements with ability to complete regulatory analysis of a variety of air emission sources.
  • Development of emission calculations (criteria pollutants, hazardous air pollutants and greenhouse gases).
  • Development of permitting packages including Title V permits and permits to construct new sources.
  • Provide guidance for air compliance reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of local and state air quality regulations.
  • Mentor junior staff in preparing permit applications and emission inventories.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and solicit new project work as appropriate.
  • Experience with air quality dispersion modeling also a plus.
  • Willingness to support other non-air related projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years' work experience in the environmental field, primarily in air permitting and compliance.
  • Utilized technical experience to develop business strategies to meet client needs
  • Understanding of market trends and how to convert those trends into business opportunities.
  • Contributes to functional strategy development.
  • Has in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and understanding of state and federal air quality regulations
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills to manage multiple activities on an on-going basis by given deadline
