The Lead Performance Optimization Engineer will proactively track and detect performance opportunities and implement improvements across the fleet. You will work closely with the Power Performance Testing, Performance Engineer, Services and Fleet Reliability Operations (FRO) teams to ensure alignment of optimal solution and rollout plan. Execution of the solution will involve interfacing with site technicians and customers.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Lead Performance Optimization Engineer, you will:
• Monitor the fleet and detect performance shortfall and promptly troubleshoot to provide immediate containment and correction
• Coordinate and obtain permanent corrective action and determine affected sites and escalate if needed
• Own and drive performance Power Assurance Check (PAC) cases by providing necessary solutions and raised concerns for repeated issues
• Execute customer power performance testing in partnership with Fleet Reliability Operations
• Provide Technical Support / Repairs / Escalation for issues that have been problematic and escalated
• Support continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste in our processes


• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Marine, Industrial Engineering, or related degree from an accredited college or university (OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of wind experience, OR High School / GED degree with a minimum of 4 years of wind experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in services, projects or engineering

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
