The Wind Advanced Technologies (WAT) team is responsible for leading New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs focused on reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) for wind power. As part of the Wind Advanced Technologies team you will be responsible for validating performance of new technologies. In this role you will create the validation technique and the work with cross functionally with the analytics team to accelerate the performance validation methods.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Validation Engineer, Wind Advanced Technologies you will:
• Own the sustainment and enhancement of the performance tools used by the Wind Advanced Technology engineering team.
• Drive standardization of performance calculations and methodologies.
• Define the performance calculation strategy for new technologies.


• Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Matlab and / or SAS experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Proven strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
• Proven success working with external customers, including the ability to find customer value
• Proven success embracing and leading change initiatives
• Strong Project Management experience
• Strong Oral and written communication skills
