In this role, the candidate will serve as the business analyst for Renewable Engineering IT programs across all Renewable P&Ls as part of the Digital Engineering organization. The successful candidate will work with the senior business analyst on the team and collaborate with cross functional business partners to define appropriate processes to implement engineering tools, specifically Enovia PLM.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role as The Lead IT Business Analyst it requires an ability to collaborate with business partners and work horizontally in an effective, clear thinking manner. You will be responsible for ensuring requirements for enhancements to the Enovia platform are appropriately documented and stored in appropriate systems, define the correct processes across the P&Ls, and work with the development teams to ensure the implementation is planned and delivered. The candidate will take guidance from the senior BA on the staff, the program and project leaders and work within the Agile scrum teams to ensure business process needs are scoped, defined, documented and delivered.
  • Lead the preparation of system wide changes in the Enovia Platform as defined by priorities set by the leadership committee for the PLM program.
  • Work with the technical team in an Agile environment to ensure that the proposed solutions will comply technically within the application.
  • Drive solution identification, feasibility analysis, and implementation recommendations for business level improvements and assist with prioritization of resulting projects
  • Assure conformance to system architecture, methods, standards and practices and promote their creation
  • Initiate and coordinate outsourced supplier efforts as required
  • Drive the use of out-of-the-box use of engineering tools, and promote reuse where applicable


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in business analysis functions, business planning

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in application development / design and architecture, technology operations, and project management in an information systems environment
  • Significant knowledge of Enovia PLM Platform (version 2013x and higher as well as 3DExperience)
  • PLM Experience with an industrial manufacturing company
  • Demonstrated skills in technology and infrastructure architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear guidance in complex and distributed environments
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Established organizational abilities
  • Quality and cost drive
