This position will be responsible for strategic and complex assignments with long-term business implications. This position is responsible for implementing various new and existing NPI programs, in support of commercial product development, ranging from delivering analytics & visualization platforms to implementing time series historian systems.

Essential Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of a solution on medium to large projects. The Implementation Leader will drive the client implementation and will be involved in the development of several key project deliverables (e.g., charter, project/staffing plan, issue logs, etc.) and work with the Client project manager. The Implementation Leader will also be responsible for managing the agreed to budget and delivering the project profitably.

In addition, you will:
  • Coordinate multiple, simultaneous software & infrastructure projects, initiatives and assignments with broad scope and high impact to our customers
  • Manage complex technology programs to facilitate the harvesting, ingestion and digestion of equipment operating and market data through smart analytics and visualization solutions
  • Partner with engineering, product management and customers to deliver commercial products, supporting Industrial Internet initiatives, aimed at driving customer value and growth for the power generation services business units
  • Serve as the implementation lead for commercial software analytics deployment at a customer site
  • Be responsible, as a consolidated escalation point, for overall customer solution delivery across operations and services delivering a single service solution
  • Lead, execute deployment activities, including production release, testing & validation
  • Maintain effective working relationship with customers / users, stakeholders, vendors and partners to integrate programs into overall strategic objectives
  • Partner with shared technical and business resources (M&D, ISS, SWCoE, IT etc.) to effectively deliver and support solutions
  • Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate/improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for business process efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure timely, consistent and, accurate responses to client queries, escalations, concerns or complaints
  • Drive improvements and initiatives in partnership with relevant stakeholders or business owners to resolve delivery issues, failures or adverse feedback from clients
  • Build and develop awareness of the commercial and strategic value of the client within business leadership and senior management
  • Conduct reviews across all products and services to ensure continuous client focus, commitment and engagement


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Engineering from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with client facing service delivery roles
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading and managing large & complex business programs
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business systems analysis and support including working with all aspects of software development lifecycle (requirements to post release validation)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with infrastructure (networks, servers, security, databases)

  • Black Belt certified or equivalent quality certification

  • ITLP graduate or equivalent leadership program graduate
