GP&S (Global Projects & Services) Service Sales Director is responsible for driving profitable growth and takes overall responsibility for executing China Services Sales operating plan of Wind services products and setting strategic directions to drive margin and top-line growth.

Essential Responsibilities

• Take accountability of China region services growth, services sales organization effectiveness, commercial sophistication, risk management and leadership development
• Set services sales strategic vision and direct the sales team to support the product portfolio within Wind services business. Translate concepts, develop strategy and implement changes
• Work with customers and lead the team to assess customer needs
• Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at all levels and develop strategy to win profitable business from these customers
• Cultivate long-term relationships and communications at all levels of customer organizations as well as the other functions within GE.
• Identify opportunities for volume growth, backlog and Integrate broader services product lines including transactional, billable, and contractual offerings.
• Keep abreast of market economics, competitive issues, technology and projects and establish growth strategies based on such knowledge.
• Develop account planning / strategies for assigned customer base, including order forecasts of multiple GE streams (CM&U / Parts / Services, Catalog Conversions Modifications & Upgrades)
• Coordinate quarterly site operational reviews with clients to ensure customer satisfaction; meanwhile provide feedback to the services team for continuous improvement
• Provide leadership, coaching and development for the regional sales team to attract, retain and build a strong talent pipeline
• Work on the assigned accounts and customers for specific services order in-take


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related technical field, and/or advanced business degree with applicable industry experience.
• Practical understanding of current/emerging requirements of the power generation/Wind markets and customer financial drivers and needs.
• Proven track record of minimum 10 plus years of relevant experience in sales or development in the Wind or power generation industry
• Outstanding customer skills and strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and confidence with executive level presentation
• Ability to effectively lead a multi-functional team and operate in a multi-cultural and matrix organization
• Strategic thinking and ability to balance long-term vision with short-term results
• Proven ability to act as a change agent
• Strong influencing and relationship building skills
• Demonstrate track record of superior performance
• Understanding of GE' and customer financial drivers/needs, tax and legal principles
• Self-starter with high energy and ability to inspire others
• Fluent in both English and Chinese
