This IT Analyst candidate will provide technical and functional support for Finance Shared Services and Solutions across multiple Oracle platforms. The IT Analyst would be responsible for the day to day support and associated project work for all aspects of Shared Services ERP footprint and associated 3rd party bolt-on applications along with key knowledge of Oracle financial modules (PO, AP, AR, GL, CM, FAH, SLA) in an R12 Oracle platforms.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of ESGAP system solutions & ensure corporate enterprise standards
• Support ESGAP's P&L's platforms both from a daily operations and a project perspective, providing technical support of the environment, managing issues, implementing changes, liaising with Finance team on new requirements.
• Work on RICE Components, workflows and customization with strong knowledge on Invoice to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report functionality.
• Act as a technical expert on the wing to wing processes with a focus on Oracle Business Process Technology Solutions, including expertise in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Workflows, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, Extensible Markup Language (XML), SOA, ADF and Oracle Personalization - especially the use of Preventative Control Governor (PCG) in the Oracle GRC suite.
• Develop functional, technical specifications as per AIM and GE documentation standards.
• Follow project rigor and process, applying Agile methodologies as appropriate
• Maintain environment configuration and access control, drive consistency of infrastructure across the environment
• Proactively seek continuous improvement in the area of Oracle functional application capabilities and technical or report performance to enhance process efficiency and user experiences.
• Interface/Co-ordinate with functional leadership, key stakeholders, and Corporate teams working as a business partner to evaluate, simplify, and improve business processes.
• Partner with IT Operation leaders in the various P&L's for the Finance team on key Simplification & Growth initiatives to drive the overall strategy
• Support Renewable Energy ERP platforms and GL simplification strategy
• Maintain and apply current knowledge of information technology; keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and help determine if / how they can be used to add value to the business
• Understand, promote and adhere to IT security/SOD and SoX compliance policies and processes
• Advise GE businesses, IT and Functional leaders on how to apply Oracle ERP technology solutions to critical business processes and requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP preferably around the Financial Processes
• Strong Technical and functional expertise in core Oracle financial modules and processes (PO, AP, AR, GL, CM, FAH, SLA)
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with background in Oracle Applications Technical - APIs, CUSTOM.pll, Oracle Applications Framework pages, Forms personalization, UNIX, Shell Scripting and XML Publisher reports development
• Understanding of Finance and Accounting and analytical skills are required to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering or equivalent degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with financial systems, business planning, resource allocation & project management
• Experience working with Oracle financial systems and cross-business teams
• Oracle ERP CEMLI customization and Data Migration experience (HPMM)
• Experience with software development and infrastructure change management, release management, production support and source code configuration control
• Knowledge of Oracle Application Sysadmin activities like setting up DFFs . KFFs ad concurrent Jobs etc.
• Interface directly with functional leadership, key stakeholders, and Corporate teams working as a business partner to evaluate, simplify, and improve business processes

Desired Characteristics

• Experience working with Oracle financial systems and cross-business teams
• Experience with software development and infrastructure change management, release management, production support and source code configuration control
• Strong Technical / Functional knowledge of PL / SLQ tuning techniques, patch application, Metalink and SR support
