Essential Responsibilities

Develop and update the Site Quality Execution Plan as required.
Prepare Site Quality audit program (including contractor audits and internal audits) & carry out internal and contractor quality audits as per the Site Quality audit program.
Assist and coordinate any planned external audits.
Support and enable the Contractor to understand and perform under the SPS Quality requirements
Monitor contractor compliance with Quality requirements and implement corrective actions whenever required.
Review Contractor Quality Plans to ensure alignment with the Site Quality Execution Plan and the client requirements.
Review quality documentations for correctness and completeness prior approval (e.g. WPS/PQR, test certificates, welding summary sheet).
Ensure that the ITPs (Inspection & Test Programs), the ITPLs (Inspection & Test Plans) and any erection documentation (isometrics, procedures, etc.) provided by SPS are effectively communicated to the site management team and the contractors.
Provide Quality Induction training to the site personnel.
Ensure that Quality Control processes are fully implemented and continuously monitored.
Ensure that inspection / testing during Civil, Mechanical & Electrical erection and Commissioning are conducted, documented, checked and validated as per the ITPLs.
Organise and supervise acceptance testing and/or approval by customers, third parties and governmental authorities whenever required at site.
Monitor the on time delivery of the Site Work Conformance File (SWCF) by sub-contractors
Check the completeness and correctness of the Site Work Conformance File (SWCF)
Submit the Site Work Conformance File (SWCF) to the Customer
Fully deploy the qualification process of site welders and consolidate the associated qualification records.
Ensure that the NCR (Non-Conformance Report) System, PIRS (Project Information Retrieval System) database, ERS (Experience Response System) and any other tools are fully deployed at site and that the users are adequately trained.
Ensure that all testing and measurement equipment used at site are listed and calibrated and that the associated calibration certificates are available.
Provide inputs on QA/QC issues for the site monthly reports.
Coordinate the implementation of site quality processes with the contractors, clients and any other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with Quality road map assessment requirements and drive the close-out of any CAR (Corrective Action Request) raised.
Setting up and over viewing the inspections, turnover (internal & external) and collation of all outstanding works on the Punch list.
Provide Quality related site KPIs to the Project Quality Manager whenever required.
Any other tasks defined in ABFPL processes and assigned by the Project Quality Manager and the Site Manager / Construction & Commissioning head.
Coordinate, follow-up and lead site inspections
Coordinate document control on site and with home office, including for reviewing and archiving process
Provide Quality inputs to the site management to support on-time and in-budget execution of the project.
Lead and manage the Site Quality team to provide an efficient quality support to the site management team
Ensure that the site Quality Management system is compliant with any regulatory and ABFPL requirements as well as any applicable codes & standards.


Education & Trainings
Mandatory (MUST)
•University degree in an Engineering discipline with vast experience in Quality
Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)
•Auditor training ISO 9001:2008
•Six Sigma Green or Black Belt desirable.
•Management System implementation on construction sites.
•Qualification and/or experience in Welding inspection and Non-Destructive Tests.
•Previous supervisor experience with technical, site construction, and/or quality personnel.
7.2Professional Experience
Experience gained on the job during professional life
Mandatory (MUST)
•7-years construction site experience with direct quality responsibility
•10 years' experience in Power Plant business or Oil & Gas industry.
•Knowledge and experience of international construction codes / standards.
