As the GE Hitachi IT Program Manager - Global Supply Chain (MES), you will establish and manage client relationships with Global Supply Chain Leadership to define and drive GSC strategic programs, including the design and execution of the Brilliant Factory strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

As the IT Program Manager - Global Supply Chain (MES), you will:
  • Partner with peers and business stakeholders across the business to create digital thread solutions.
  • Lead team of Program Managers in support of Model Based Enterprise and Sensor Enablement initiatives
  • Implement the Brilliant Factory reference architecture across the Manufacturing landscape
  • Build expertise in systems within use across GE Hitachi's Supply Chain and develop a full understanding of how to replace / interface with these systems and the Brilliant Manufacturing Suite
  • Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
  • Be responsible for people management activities including recruiting, development, performance management, compensation, organization and teaming
  • Be responsible for program budgets and/or cost centers, resource allocation and planning to ensure delivery of business benefits


  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering, Computer Science / Management Information System or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT in a manufacturing environment

  • Expertise in business, manufacturing, and machine analytics
  • Experience in various Manufacturing Platforms, Integration Technologies and Analytics Tools (Oracle ERP, MES, Historian, GE Cimplicity HMI/SCADA, Tableau, Oracle Forms and Reports, etc.)
  • Experience with various Operational Technologies (PLCs, CNCs, DCS, SCADAs, etc.)
  • Strong proactive and analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to influence others, deliver the value proposition, and lead small teams
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
  • Experience supporting complex organizations (global, multi-P&L, different business models & priorities)
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
  • Able to work across global locations
  • Demonstrated change leadership skills
  • Demonstrated program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
  • Experience with process quality methodology
  • Project management experience in global environments
  • Coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading teams
  • Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience
  • Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions
  • Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them
  • Black Belt certified or equivalent quality certification
  • MBA
  • GE Information Technology Leadership Program Graduate
  • Lean experience or equivalent quality experience
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) / ITIL ( Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certified
