The Staff Software Architect will design and program a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. You will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will work closely with the ERP, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain business teams to established the Power Plant Configuration - Installed Base Analytics (IBAT) system that provides visibility on Customer equipment across the globe.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Staff Software Architect you will:
  • Subject Matter Expertise on Solution
    Architecture - Ariba, SAP ERP, SOA, Webmethods
  • Lead implementation of full Procure-to-Pay
    solution that incudes configuring Ariba Marketplace, integration with Master
    Data, and integration with Payment system
  • Utilize knowledge of defined reference
    architectures, technology trends, implementation experience in order to
    translate the business need into an end-to-end technical solution
  • Participate in the domain technical and
    business discussions relative to future architect direction.
  • Assist in the analysis, design and development
    of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a
    cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Gather and analyze data and develop
    architectural requirements at project level.
  • Participate in the EA (Enterprise
    Architecture) governance model.
  • Support the development software and data
    delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can
    be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
  • Research and evaluate
    emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project
    development and/or operational support activities.





















Qualifications/Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM"
    Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
  • A minimum
    of 8 years of professional experience in Ariba Marketplace / Ariba
    Procure-to-Pay OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience in Ariba
    Marketplace / Ariba Procure-to-Pay
    OR PhD with 3 years of experience in Ariba Marketplace
    / Ariba Procure-to-Pay




Eligibility Requirements:

  • Legal
    authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor
    individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Ability and willingess to travel up to 20%, as required
  • Must
    be willing to work out of an office located in Atlanta, GA
