You will work closely with the product management, sales, marketing, communications and other key business teams to create and deliver integrated communication campaigns on steam plant solutions that encompass product/solution commercialization, customer engagement activities, sales enablement, branding and select advertising to create demand, foster market growth, position the GE brand and strengthen customer relationships.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver and measure strategic
    commercial communications campaigns, including innovative methods to create
    demand for Power Services (PS) offerings in the marketplace, position PS among its competitors
    and drive awareness in the marketplace
  • Work closely with key business teams to
    define audiences, craft high-impact value proposition messaging and content
    assets, create success stories, develop thought leadership positioning and
    collaborate with team peers to amplify messaging through all relevant channels,
    while customizing according to regional-specific needs
  • Create compelling content, in multiple
    formats that can be delivered through all relevant channels to support the
    business value story messaging and brand promise
  • Collaborate with Digital, PR and
    Internal Communications Managers to ensure message consistency across all
    campaign channels
  • Collaborate with regional communications
    managers globally to tailor messaging for market and customer-specific needs

  • Support other campaign and
    communications needs by the broader Communications team as


  • Bachelor's degree Communications, Public
    Relations, English, Journalism, Business or related discipline from an
    accredited college or university
  • Proven strong core communication skills,
    including copywriting for multiple channels/formats (messaging banks, digital
    content, speeches, presentations, thought leadership, etc.), information
    research, subject matter expert interviews
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical
    messaging into succinct value story positioning
  • Demonstrated executive presence; ability
    to effectively interact at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to flexibly manage
    changing project priorities while maintaining a high quality work product

  • Proven ability to develop and execute
    strategies with sales, marketing and product line functions
  • Proven ability in managing external
    business partners including creative and production agencies and other support
  • Strong business acumen
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing
    communications campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively
    managing and tracking project/campaign budgets
  • Demonstrated experience in both
    independent management of project/campaign priorities along with proactive
    collaboration with communications peers and other key stakeholders
  • Profound experience in
    Corporate Communications, Public Relations / Agency, Marketing or Marketing
