In this role you will be responsible for conducting certain duties to support the SAP CoE PMO team such as Vendor Management, Project Portfolio Management, Project Execution & Monitoring, Risk Management. You will also be required to support other CoE organizations such as Design, Delivery, Enterprise Solutions and P&L project teams with Project Management activities related to deployments.

Essential Responsibilities

SAP COE Project Coordinator will:
  • Support the SAP CoE Lead IT Project Manager with the Vendor Management Process. This will include aggregating resource requests, creating required materials such as RFPs, SOWs, Vendor Management Requests (VMRs), communicating PO information to the PMO finance team, creating and managing SSOs and other needs related to onboarding external workers.
  • Support the insourcing processes by maintaining external worker data in the IDM and CWD systems, analyzing and summarizing data requests for the leadership team and supporting events related to hiring such as job fairs, information sessions, resume gathering and screening.
  • Support the Risk Management process by creating a centralize Risk process and tool, work with the various teams and the CoE to resolve / escalate issues escalated by project managers or cross-project escalations and RAID (risks, actions, issues and decisions) per functional area.
  • Support the Portfolio Management Process (new project requests) by aggregating requests, auditing documentation that has been submitted for leadership review, prioritizing requests and communicating outcomes to the requesting teams.
  • Ensure the consistent application of the project management methodology and provide reports/dashboards project situation for management insight and decision-making.
  • Prepare, present, and review overall IT plans, status reports, and cost / benefit studies.
  • Assist with material creation for various governance stakeholder sessions / other meetings.
  • Support functional team leaders with team meetings and ensure feedback loop to PM.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited College or University mso-fareast-font-family:Calibri;mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family:
    "Times New Roman";color:#1F497D;mso-ansi-language:EN-US;mso-fareast-language:
    EN-US;mso-bidi-language:AR-SA">or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience with knowledge of PM methodologies and tools or experience working on IT Software Projects.
