The Product Sales Manager - Steam Turbines demonstrates leadership for obtaining orders and sales by driving and implementing Steam Turbine product specific sales strategy for Latin America.

Essential Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to drive volume growth in Steam Turbines services and Steam Turbines' associated systems.
• Collaborate with product line Steam Turbine to analyse installed base OEM and oOEM, and build plan for sales force to visit mapped targets.
• Work with Account Managers and customers to determine appropriate products and services solutions.
• Support Account Managers and commercial operations regarding scope definition and technical discussions with customers.
• Track, follow-up and push Multiyear Opportunity development from detection to fulfillment.
• Contribute to defining and implementing marketing and commercial strategies to increase orders volume and profitability for Steam Turbines
• Actively participate in Demand to Inquiry (DTI) process, establishing a systematic business-scouting program with the purpose of identifying existing and new market opportunities
• Leverage cross-functional and cross business resources in order to maximize market penetration
• Provide feedback when cross-selling for other GE products are identified
• Provide feedback to product line Steam Turbine regarding product improvement needed in the region.
• Collaborate with sales force, product line and marketing to enhance GE market intelligence about Steam Turbines, including competitive environment.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with customers and within GE Steam Turbine product line.
• Be an active contributor in the Steam Turbine community in Latin America.
• Simplify the way we deliver to the market place


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Product Management, Engineering, Field Services or Technical Sales
• Deep technical Steam Turbine knowledge
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the energy market
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Abitility to influence peers and stakeholders in order to implement product strategy
• Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
• Fluent English.
