As the Strategic Marketing Analyst, you will need to demonstrate accountability for the structured market analysis of our product offerings to drive product line share gains and profitability. You will be involved in long-term product planning, tactical planning and overall product strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Strategic Marketing Analyst, you will:
  • Create customer value proposition with supporting case studies, as appropriate
  • Develop analysis to identify product offerings
  • Develop analysis that informs marketing plans & strategies
  • Directly support sales analysis on key accounts and large orders
  • Develop prospecting sales material for key account managers
  • Focus on product growth through product improvements and market expansion
  • Understand the product marketplace; know the competition and the product strengths and weaknesses to help define the multi- generational product plan (MGPP)
    Collaborate with the digital communications team to analyze / develop specific digital campaigns
  • Analyze Customer User Groups to help define client funded product evolution
  • Build the business cases: Generate cost estimates & development strategies to support MGPP & New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Develop and deliver NPI functional specifications to the development team
  • Work with the IS Training team to create training materials and plans for the product
  • Track ongoing needs for product improvement for consideration in the S2 NPI budget so as to remain competitive and ensure continued product life
  • Work with the Sales teams to establish regional strategies for the customer


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Marketing
