• Responsible for the analysis of wind data from proposed and existing sites and providing support and advice to the Regional/Country Sales and Commercial Managers.
• Analyze the collected data and perform assessment of turbine suitability at the specific site.
• Advise on micro-siting of WTGs, start and control the assessment of the structural integrity (loads) of the turbine type chosen.
• Conduct component level load assessment as needed and advise options to reduce load & maximize energy output.
• Work across all GE-Wind poles as part of a global acting team.
• Engage micro-siting global process development and improvement.
• Initiate/Lead value added activity to maximize customer value.
• Flexible for extra task assignment per business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

• BS or above in engineering sciences or equivalent
• 2+ years experiences with load, structure design.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, creative problem solving skills.
• Self directed and proven leadership skills.
• Good interpersonal communication skills to work in global team.
• Willingness to travel, demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal & written).

Desired Characteristics

• Green Belt trained / certified (GE employees only)
• Experience on wind turbine design.
• Project Management mind-set that includes aggressive planning, schedule commitments, and efficient resource controllership.
