The Continuous Process Improvement Leader will focus on projects/process improvement to ensure that processes and products are designed with appropriate quality measurement systems. You will minimize risk of poor quality. You will demonstrate deep technical expertise within a field, and possess comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches and methodology.

Essential Responsibilities

The Continuous Process Improvement Leader will focus on the following:
  • Leading improvement projects with a goal of enhanced performance
  • Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes
  • Viewing internally and externally as a specialist in the discipline
  • Presenting projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to business leaders within technical space
  • Communicating solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Cost of Quality initiatives to bring the Business long-term added value
  • Oversee issue resolution and root cause analysis programs to improve process, remove barriers, and drive timely customer resolutions
  • Partner with leadership team to develop and improve key focus areas and Product Quality
  • Meet business targets aligned with Renewables Focus Areas (Availability, Responsiveness, Production, CoQ)
  • Drive quality improvements in all operational areas
  • Support Lean Six Sigma activities and Strategy
  • Build strong business product quality practices


  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering or Business discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering / project management professional experience


  • Green Belt Certification(GE Employees only)

    Desired Characteristics

  • Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) or Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
  • Prior Renewables / Wind business experience
  • Strong leadership & organization skills especially in matrix environment
  • Renewables BB or QMS Leader experience
  • Experience to Lead groups / people and work well with various leadership levels
  • Proven track record in the Power Generation business
  • Demonstrated project management, organizational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Project coordination / Change Management / Influencing / Leadership skills
  • Customer Centric and Business Oriented mindset
  • Quality based, Six Sigma, and Lean mindset
  • Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision
  • Advanced Degree
  • Auditor Experience
  • Matrix Management Experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally as needed
