Construction documentation preparation for all Scope, including but not limited to, Erection procedure, strategy, methodology, heavy lifting procedure, main equipment erection handling, ITPL's quality comm, Hydro test & cleaning procedure, acid cleaning concept ,Contractual erection requirement, Progress measurement calculation, RFQ erection Contract preparation, Construction planning, Compile and Issue Erection Files, etc. for all function mechanical, electrical, and I&C.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensure all interaction, coordination, in all areas between Construction Activities and Engineering ..
• Construction documentation preparation for all Scope, including but not limited to, Erection procedure, Erection strategy, Erection methodology, heavy lifting procedure, main equipment erection handling, ITPL's quality commissioning, Hydro test procedure, cleaning procedure, acid cleaning concept ,Contractual erection requirement, Progress measurement calculation, RFQ erection Contract preparation, Construction planning, special tools list required, Compile and Issue Erection Files, etc. for all function mechanical, electrical, and I&C. Prepare the full MDL Construction document list.
• Supports all Construction activities for water/steam cycle, steam Turbine / generator, balance of plant and the plant overall during tender, engineering and site execution stages.
• Support Sales team, during tender negotiation with customer, for all Construction issues, by analysing the contractual Construction aspect, and assisting with customer discussion regarding construction issues.
• Construction strategy preparation, including the methodology for heavy /ODC lifting plan. Cranes movement.
• Erection Contract technical RFQ , BOQ preparation.
• Site Infrastructure preparation , RFQ, and implementation - Site offices, warehouses, Water/Electrical temporary supply, storage areas, Warehouse, fencing, laydown areas, workshops, assembly areas.
• Introduce the project Construction specific, and preparation to all Erection Supervisors engineers before mobilising to Site. Provide all required information to Construction engineers.
• The Construction Preparation and Support Engineer has the responsibility to provide all necessary engineering support to Construction, and to Customer. Provide the documentation, expertise, information and training during Tendering, Project Execution and guarantee phase as assigned by the LE Construction Engineering
• Comply with the Quality and EHS rules from the project, business, sector and corporate within the own area of activity
• In general, the Construction Engineer complies with the Plant Business Management System MEGA, the Plant Business Manuals (PBM), Project Engineering File (PEF) and the Project Management File (PMF) and applies the imposed tools. He/she ensures on time delivery of the project/ tender engineering activities to contractual requirements.
• Get the construction feedbacks from all sites, and use them for technical and process improvement
• Ensures that he is always up to date for the available new technologies and the current codes and standards

7.1 Education & Trainings
Mandatory (MUST)
• Degree in Engineering
Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)
• Specialization in Power Plant
7.2 Professional Experience
Experience gained on the job during professional life

Mandatory (MUST)
• Relevant experience in large Power plant projects
• At least 3-6 years' experience in the Field of Engineering for major Power/Chemical/ Petrochemical Plants in total;

Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)
• Site Experience related to Erection and construction
• Held former position as construction manager or erection supervisor
• Good understanding of erection sequences and methods in relation to sub-contracting.
• Course of studies appropriate to the technical field involved
• Specific Knowledge about the relevant international codes and standards ANSI, ASME, API, NFPA , HEI, PTC etc.;
7.3 Functional Know-how

Mandatory (MUST)
• Know and apply design methods, rules and tools to specify the system/components
• Power Plant process knowledge
• Knowledge of interfaces
• Readiness to stay on site or other Alstom offices for short period.
• Knowledge and experience in contracting in terms scope definition and contact Management.
• Experience in Piping Engineering, preferably in the field of power piping in accordance with ASME B31.1
Desirable (NICE TO HAVE)
• Good skills in the use of computer applications and computer tools (Microsoft Office, Access)
• Has a good knowledge of Engineering, Design and Project Management tools and methods
7.4 Language Skills

• Is fluent in English (written and spoken) and able to lead negotiations in English
