The Poland oOEM Engineering Manager will lead a team product design services engineers, developing technology for non-GE gas turbine technology, coordinating the team with the global oOEM engineering network. This position will be the engineering leader responsible for developing the technical capabilities of the team, leveraging the existing GE design network, while helping to establish the unique working processes to help drive the oOEM team.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design engineers, coordinated with the larger engineering organization to effectively drive and develop gas turbine technology for non-GE gas turbines
• Coordinate with engineering section leaders and oOEM engineering network to drive alignment and rapid communication of priorities and challenges
• Establish core design processes and team culture for Poland GT oOEM engineering team
• Define and drive GE oOEM design validation strategy.
• Work with GE manufacturing and vendors to produce oOEM offerings in a timely, cost-effective and technically-correct manner.
• Drive team alignment across module interfaces
• Work with GE technologists across Engineering, Global Research, and Advanced Manufacturing to drive differentiating technologies into oOEM offerings that offer advantaged durability and performance that commands a price-premium in the Services marketplace.
• Implement initiatives to continuously improve the responsiveness of the section/organization to customer/business needs.
• Develop Poland team hardware engineering team capabilities, to support oOEM business model.
• Build network with global design centers to drive synergies, in relation to design tools, processes, and resource alignment


• Master of Science in Engineering and engineering experience
• Experience on leadership role within an engineering environment (Manager, Team Leader)
• Knowledge of engineering materials and processes
• System knowledge about gas turbines, generators and steam turbines assembly and related components
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to organize, motivate, and manage people.
• Effective team building and project management ability
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skill
• Knowledge of engineering budgeting processes and practices
