Making sure that everyone who works on our Jenbacher products in the field has the technical skills to optimally commission, maintain and upgrade our engines is the key mission of the Global Product Training Center. As Technical Trainer you will support this mission by leading classroom and hands-on technical product trainings, and by helping with training material creation and improvements.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead technical hands-on and classroom training courses for international customers, Channel Partners and GE employees
  • Work with subject matter experts to support the creation and update of training materials and eTraining modules
  • Support the continuous improvement process of training offerings by collecting feedback from training participants and sharing key insights with the team
  • Lead dedicated training projects related to improvements of training infrastructure, standards and processes
  • Drive an understanding of and compliance with all applicable EHS and integrity policies


    • Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or local equivalent
    • Significant experience with Jenbacher gas engines, ideally as a mechanical field service engineer or a significant experience in similar role in a similar business with proven track record
    • High technical understanding and problem solving skills and the ability to clearly explain complex technical processes in an understandable way
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written in German and English language
    • Demonstrated ability to develop credibility with customers and exceptionally strong customer service mindset
    • Be available for international travel up to 30% of the time

    According to Austrian law job postings need to include the minimum salary for a position. For this position the minimum salary based on the collective agreement is EURO 2.657,90 gross monthly. Please note that this is the very minimum salary and will most likely be higher. The effective salary is based on the candidate's Qualification and Experience and will be negotiated accordingly.
