Reporting to the Asia, China, India Region(s) Multi - Year Agreement Sales Leader, this Sales Manager is a strategic member of the Power Services Asia Region team responsible for driving MYA growth for PS installed base and new equipment opportunities including renegotiating existing contracts.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will drive incremental Commitments, Orders, Convertible Orders, and Sales through the negotiation and closure of MYA deals with region customers. In addition to closing deals, you will support the operating plan for the Asia Region MYA Segment by;
• Developing creative commercial solutions and driving key initiatives that create MYA growth in your deals
• Leading cross-functional deal teams including Sales, Comm Ops, Risk, OTR, Finance, & Legal
• Negotiate Terms & Conditions and analyze Risk / Reward structure of commercial solutions
• Effectively communicate value story internally and externally
• Manage Policy 5.0 for all deal commercial offerings
• Proactively engage OTR to develop growth opportunities in the existing PS portfolio as well as working closely with new unit sales team to position for the best life-cycle value solution for customers
• Be responsible for your MYA pipeline management, pricing, forecasting
• Provide input for Blueprint planning and forecasting for MYA opportunities


• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• At least 10 additional years of experience in Sales, Operations, or Product Management
• Willingness and ability to travel as required

Desired Characteristics

• Prior experience negotiating MYA agreements including MYA re-negotiation
• Prior experience in MYA operations management
• Strong business acumen and commercial savvy
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of power plant economics and power industry market dynamics
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Six Sigma training is preferred (GE employees only)
• Strong customer service mindset
• Knowledge of related products, services and markets

• Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers
