Driving sales of all non-gas product and service offerings for Gas, Coal and industrial plants across the region or within the allocated countries.

Essential Responsibilities

Reporting to the Product Sales Director ( the Steam and Industrial), the Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales across the Asia Pacific region or within the allocated countries in the region for all non-Gas product and service offerings for Gas, Coal and industrial plants. You will work closely with the PS Global Product Line Sales team to implement the product sales strategy across the region.

You will also work closely with the PS GPL team to feed back critical information about the customer and market environment in the region so as to develop product strategies that may be personalized to your region's or allocated countries' needs and grow sales.

Other essential responsibilities include:
• Work closely with Account Managers in identifying and growing sales opportunities
• Collaborate with the Regional Commercial Operations team, to develop winning deals.
• Communicate the strategy for selling (Product) to the account managers
• Provide commercial and technical expertise and assistance in selling in this specific technical field... lead key deals to support the team as necessary with technical depth and commercial expertise
• Be accountable for (Product) including orders, commitments, cash, penetration, pricing / profitability, risk and customer satisfaction
• Work effectively in a team environment with Engineering, Finance, Sales and OTR to insure the most efficient use of all resources
• Support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in Salesforce.com


• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business from an accredited university or college
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industry-related engineering, sales, commercial operations or marketing including minimum 4 years in a customer-facing role

Desired Characteristics

• Proven broad technical knowledge in steam and industrial plants, with depth in at least steam turbine or boiler or generator or AQCS product.
• Broad and deep understanding of the commercial cycle - including product line/marketing/sales/commercial operations/engineering
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Customer, service and "solutions' mindset
• Ability and willingness to travel as required (up to 50%)
