The Pricing Manager drives functional & operational pricing intensity and rigor for opportunities. The Pricing Manager will manage the historical data de-scoping, normalization, database maintenance and ITO relationship management of the assigned segments. The Pricing Manager will demonstrate accountability for in-depth win / loss analysis. In this role, you will also develop processes that meet business needs, be involved in campaigns and contribute to the overall business strategy for EMIP.

Essential Responsibilities

Support development of proposal value.
Negotiate with internal stakeholders to ensure deals deliver shareholder value and drive competitive pricing.
Develop a vision for market level pricing of products with a long term perspective.
Execution of Operational and Strategic Pricing, as well as data reporting, analytics, and tracking.
Work with business to understand and record pricing trends and develop pricing strategies that are aligned to the business metrics.
Promote and measure quarterly price campaigns, including pre / post campaign debriefs, competitive intelligence assessments for new regional entrants, and lessons learned for deals.
Understand how GE's price and offering compares to others in the market.
Understand commercial trends incorporating win-loss data, 3rd party information sources and use field interaction & provide with strategic or tactical responses to those trends.
Interface with pricing teams in other regions and globally to benchmark best practices, processes and tools for implementation.
Ensuring compliance is maintained within all processes in collaboration with Legal / Compliance, enabled by the creation & dissemination of compliance guidelines.
Perform historic transaction analysis on a region, segment, product line basis, and other segmentation as requested from time-to-time using Athena / Tableau / SFDC.
Understand and report on confidence for pricing levels based on competitive factors, cost and other market drivers to allow best positioning with an increased margin.


- Master's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Pricing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power Industry.
- Certified Pricing Professional (CPP).
