The Onshore Wind FP&A Leader (EMEA) is a business partner in growing the region to $2bn+ in sales. They play a critical role in driving short-term business performance, while supporting the strategic positioning of the region for long-term success.

Essential Responsibilities

The FP&A Leader will collaborate with the global Renewables Finance teams to standardize key reporting requirements and support business operations with value-add analysis.

The FP&A Leader will be a partner to Senior Executive EMEA region leader and EMEA CFO. In that capacity, the FP&A Leader owns preparation and messaging of regional financials to the Onshore Wind HQ.
In addition, the successful candidate will:


  • Lead and develop an experienced FP&A team with two local analysts, one remote analyst and one remote reporting resource
  • Manage all operational FP&A Activities: forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting including tracking of functional cost
  • Own all financial estimate cycles for Income Statement and Balance Sheet and drive weekly R&O's with local team and HQ
  • Drive the development & implementation of operating plans and actively participate in their execution with the EMEA leadership team
  • Analyze the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Orders backlog with focus on variance root causes and actionable mitigation
  • Lead weekly flash financial reviews with region leader and region leadership team to accurately pace quarterly performance
  • Engage in strategic reviews on market, products and pricing trends during Strategic Roadmap and Growth Playbook sessions
  • Support ad hoc analytical requests, business reviews, and initiatives

    Qualifications/Requirements


    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting
    • Significant experience in finance with a focus on FP&A, accounting and audit experience is a plus
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
    • Strong analytical ability and process mindset
    • Dynamic interpersonal skills and ability to interface across all levels of an organization
    • Ability to translate financial data into compelling senior executive staff presentations
    • Prevous finance experience in GE is highly desirable
