We currently require a QC inspector to work on a contract basis for a wind farm developer. The position is due to commence October and will run for approx. 5 months on a rotational basis. Ideal candidate will have; • Master in electrical High Voltage Engineering (or Bachelor with +5y experience) • Able to read, interpret functional diagrams and single line diagrams and electrical system drawings • Able to read, interpret mechanical engineering drawings and lay outs • GWO training (full offshore): - First aid training - Working at height - Sea survival training - Manual handling - Fire awareness training • Extensive knowledge of IEC standards (possible accredited level) • Extensive knowledge of the Electrical engineering safety principles • Knowledge of Vestas V112 Wind Turbines mechanical assembly and main components • Knowledge of Vestas V112 Wind Turbine electrical systems, HV switchgear and components • Knowledge of Vestas V112 Cold Commissioning processes • Knowledge of Vestas V112 Hot Commissioning processes • Knowledge of SCADA systems and SCADA system testing and commissioning processes • Knowledge of the Belgian legislation AREI (general guidelines for electrical installations) • Knowledge of machinery directive dedicated to WTG industry.
