Job Description
Mechanical Engineer applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines. Provides engineering and design support regarding building plumbing and piping systems, HVAC systems,
chillers, cooling towers, engine generators, elevators, pneumatic and electronic control systems, waste treatment systems, and environmental control systems for both personnel and electronic equipment.

Applies discretion and judgment to complete assignments of limited scope. Work is reviewed throughout the assignment.

Applies technical principles, theories, and concepts to complete assignments of limited scope.

Develops solutions to assigned technical problems of limited scope.

Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other personnel supporting respective task orders.
