The Company:
Our Client is a large Automotive and Commercial Vehicle OEM, with a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering on a contract basis. These opportunities are typically based in their research and development facility located in Dunton which is the largest automotive technical centre in the United Kingdom.

The Role:
Product Definition Analyst

Define vehicle specifications within the Company product definition system, Vista, to support dealer placement of vehicle orders from worldwide markets.
The timely availability of tables is critical to the achievement of Company production commitments to its dealers and affiliates and new product launches.
Vehicle specification information for table development is obtained from a computerised database, the Marketing Specifications List (MSL) and other sources
Maintaining timing alignments within both Sales and Manufacturing deadlines is of critical importance
Daily monitoring and correction of vehicle order processing rejects and errors is an integral part of the function
The position is responsible for assisting in the control of product change and the preparation of ad hoc analyses and management progress reports as required

Skills Required:
Competent in MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
Proven ability to operate with specialist applications software and interpret complex data relationships into logical decision tables
Comfortable working as part of a busy team and capable of being flexible to meet changing priorities arising at short notice and achieve tight timings to complete assignments

Skills Preferred:
Assertive character desired who will interact fully in communication within PD team and interfacing areas

Experience Required:
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English both verbally and in writing to internal customers worldwide and importantly to be able to interpret product and market requirements with precision and accuracy

Education Required:
Bachelors Degree or 'A' levels with relevant work experience
