Jacobs is the lead contractor providing EPCM services for the Oyu Tolgoi Underground Project. This contract is worth $2.8b of surface and infrastructure works and will see us leading the way for over 6 years to deliver this project successfully and safely.

We are seeking applications from experienced SMP (Structures, Mechanical and Piping) Supervisors to oversee the delivery of SMP works to support the construction activities so as to meet the required standards and specifications.

This role will report to the Area Manager and is based on site at Oyu Tolgoi Mine in Mongolia, and we are looking for personnel who can commence as soon as possible. This role will be FIFO on a 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster from Ulaanbaatar.

It is a requirement of this role that the successful applicant is a Mongolian citizen.

Requirements for role and responsibilities:

• Direction and supervision of Structural, Mechanical and Piping personnel and contractors

• Ensuring sub-contractors are staying on schedule, and within budget

• Ensuring compliance of sub-contractors

• Previous underground mining experience is a requirement of this role
