- Draw up concepts for control systems as part of customer projects in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, including development and engineering
- Clarify and coordinate technical aspects of specific projects
- Perform commissioning, in addition to conceiving and carrying customer training
- Provide technical sales support during the proposal/bidding stage
- Lead a team of four to five people in a functional and disciplinary capacity (project and resource planning, budgeting, managing and developing staff)
- Improve internal processes in collaboration with other Group Leaders and establish a culture of quality awareness
- Promote active exchange of information and knowledge within the team and between groups

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally in the field of Process Engineering
- At least seven years' demonstrable work experience in pharmaceutical and chemical industry
- Proven track record in engineering and commissioning of process control systems
- Knowledge of engineering methodology within the pharmaceutical industry (GMP / GAMP4)
- Initial experience in leading a team considered advantageous
- Fluent command of German and English (written and spoken), knowledge of French would be an asset
- Willingness to contribute to on-call service
