Position Summary
  • Graduate engineer in Civil engineering

  • Review technical requirements of client's specifications and ensure that agreement is reached on the basis of design. Participate in discussions with the client, as necessary

  • Maintain contact with other disciplines/groups to ensure:
    • Project Manager and/or Engineer are aware of problems of progress delays.

    • Proper interchange of information.

    • Proper interchange of documents

    • Interface is correctly defined.
  • Use accepted engineering practices to produce calculations and meet building code and client requirement.
  • Must be capable of reading piping GA drawing & isometric drawings
  • Review of P &ID for process effluent will be added advantage.
  • Must be able to perform squad checks on drawing received from other disciplines.
  • Requires interaction with own and other discipline to complete design tasks as well as with clients.
  • Occasional travel to client sites for project meetings and information gathering required
  • A degree in Civil engineering with Minimum 8-10 years' experience in design, detail engineering and costing of Roads & storm water drains , Sewer drains & Effluent drains for Food, Chemical & Pharmaceutical plants. Should be capable of preparing MTO's, BOQ's & review & checking of drawings.
  • Design Process plants and support building blocks with inputs from Process Engineering , Process Mechanical, Civil & Structural and other Engineering disciplines and fulfilling client stated requirements

  • Be able to provide solutions with very little inputs from clients.

  • Have working knowledge with Standards such as NBC, NFPI requirements.

  • Compulsory user knowledge of Software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.

  • Be open to get training on in house tools and proprietary software and tools and utilize for efficient work flow in organization.

  • Reviewing all aspects of design and construction for consistency and safety
