Serve as an Information Assurance Officer for the NAWCWD Information Assurance Division and provide direct information assurance analyst support to the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Foreign Reprogramming Laboratory (FRL) at NAS Pt. Mugu. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisted in the development and maintenance of all required documentation, including but not limited to the certification and accreditation documentation required for the client's systems

  • Communicate with customers as required to obtain necessary information

  • Maintain a basic knowledge of all IT systems, system functional requirements, hardware and software within the client's enclave

  • Manage time and prioritize tasks

  • Assist with maintaining DIACAP/DIARMF documentation in eMASS

  • Report assigned project status to contractor and government leads

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking status of all assigned projects in identified databases.

  • Assist with maintaining DADMS information for client's software

  • Assist clients with developing and maintaining IA and IT programs required to establish and maintain compliance with DoD directives
This position requires a BA/BS degree in a Computer Science/Information Management or a similar discipline, minimum of five (5) years' progressive experience in Information Assurance (IA) and/or technical writing in a data processing environment, and a Security+ or higher IA certification. CISSP Certification preferred. Must be able to prioritize tasks, deliver solutions on time and work independently and on teams. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, track, manage, learn new skills, and communicate orally and in writing is required. A good understanding of Information Technology as it relates to Information Assurance/Cyber Security would be considered beneficial. Candidate must have prior accreditation experience with Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and be aware of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Experience with providing IA or IT support to a Navy or USMC client desirable but not required. Proficiency with using the Internet and with Microsoft Office products including e-mail, Word, Excel, Access and Project is required. U.S. Citizenship and an U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain IT Level I/Special Access Program (SAP) access is required. (An active DoD Secret Clearance is required, IT Level I access would be considered a major plus.)

This position is a Jacobs's position and may be assigned to a teammate company (eLe, NDTI).

• Normal hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm, non-flex Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm

• Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance required

• Completion of required certifications required within six (6) months of hire date

• Requires the ability to possess a government CAC card

• The ability to obtain and maintain IT Level I access is required
