Position Summary

Responsible for comprehensive understanding and application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards. Will perform work of complex scope.

  • Develops CPM schedules for EPC projects
  • Facilitates multi-company interactive planning sessions
  • Ability to interface engineering schedules with construction schedules or contractor schedules
  • Review and oversight of contractor's schedules for assigned work scope
  • Communicates schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports
  • Analyzes CPM Schedules and recommends work-arounds and schedule improvement ideas
  • Interacts with engineering discipline leads and construction managers to understand and communicate issues and conflicts that impact the schedule
  • Coordinate the project's earned value system with schedule updates
  • Leads in risk analysis function
  • Able to direct and lead multi-person planning and scheduling staff


  • 10+ years of experience required, BA of BS or related experience
  • Expert in Primavera P6 software as a user
  • Extensive experience in engineering and/or construction work process and activity sequence
  • 6+ years Refinery or chemical plant facility EPC experience
  • Experienced in using and understanding earned value progress
  • Experienced in all phases of home office engineering
  • Experienced in construction management planning and scheduling
  • Large capital project experienced
  • Risk analysis experience using Primavera Risk software
