Responsibilities
  • Acting as business controlling partner for one or more customer solutions units within sales and heat operations in GER, UK, SWE, CZE, ROM, HUN, SLO, ITA as well as those of the CMO-organization, incl. E.ON Connecting Energies
  • Analyzing unit's financial and operational performance based on both internal reporting and external market trends
  • Identifying areas for improvements and proposing adequate measures  
  • Increasing financial performance by driving specific improvement initiatives (jointly with unit)
  • Developing ambitious and realistic target proposals for the Budget/Mid-Term-Planning
  • Appraising investment/divestment/M&A projects, esp. preparing and presenting decision proposals to E.ON's management board
  • Contributing to group-wide finance initiatives and projects


Qualifications
  • Excellent university degree in Business Administration, ideally complemented by postgraduate studies (e.g. CFA, MBA, Ph.D)
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally within an operational unit
  • High expertise in financial/controlling activities and IT-tools (esp. SAP, Excel) 
  • Proven ability in performance analysis, business modelling and valuations as well as track record in identifying and initiating measures for performance improvement
  • Good understanding of the energy sector and related business models esp. in the sales, heat and/or solutions business
  • Upright team player with drive, passion and can-do attitude 
  • Strong business acumen, analytical mind-set and structured working style
  • Capability to deal with complex/multiple assignments and tight deadlines
  • Distinct communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken/written)
